HOW TO SIGN UP FOR 7th & 8th GRADE MISSION TRIPS.
  • Watch for the official announcements to come out in the Pony and in the Sunday Bulletin.
  • Sign up via email by the due date.
  • We will use a lottery to select the participants. 
  • Participants will be contacted with forms and deposits due.
When can you start participating in Youth Ministry?
The Summer you begin your 7th grade year.

How do I join Youth Ministry?
If you are a member of St. Patrick Parish, please submit the registration information on the home page. Once this information is received you will be put into the database as an active member of the Youth Ministry. You are a member of the Youth Ministry just by being a member of the parish. You may participate in all parish youth activities. We have a Jr. High Youth Ministry Program for grades 7 - 8. We also have a High School Youth Ministry for grades 9 - 12. All High School Students are encouraged to attend the Jr. High Youth Ministry Events as Mentors and Leaders!

Can I just attend a few events a year?
Yes, You can attend any youth event that is on the schedule.  However, for some of the events, those who participate in other 
youth events have the advantage, over those who only attend a few events.

Can I bring a guest that does not belong to our parish to an event?
Yes, Guest are always welcome to participate in Youth Activities. However, you must sign in your guest and stay with them 
throughout the activity. If permission slips/Medical Waivers are required, your guest must also bring these forms to the event. You can find this form on the  Upcoming Youth Events Page.

When are Permission Slips/Medical forms needed?
A new Permission Slip/Medical Waiver is needed anytime we leave church property. You can print off the permission slip/Medical Waiver needed for each event under the RSVP forms on the  Upcoming Youth Events Page.

How do I sign up for youth events?

3.Send in Registration forms, Permission Slip/Medical Waiver to parish, school or Youth Ministry office

How do adults volunteer to help with Youth Ministry Events?
Adult are always needed for every youth ministry event. Please go to the Adult Support Opportunities Page, fill in the information and submit. You can also go to the Adult Leadership Interest Indicator Button  and e-mail the  information form provided. This helps us to know exactly where you interested. We also have the adult help that is needed on every RSVP form on the Upcoming Events Webpage.  Or you can just call Jonna at 812 449-6560 to volunteer for any event.

What if I can't afford to participate in Youth Ministry Events?
Money should never keep anyone from participating in any event. Please see the Scholarship Form on the Events Page. Please fill out and email to Jonna at jobryan@stpatrick-lou.org. Please do not hesitate to call Jonna O'Bryan at 812 449-6560 for additional information. There is money available for families that need assistance.

Who do I make out the check to when paying for Youth Ministry events?
Please make all checks payable to St. Patrick. All money is ran through the St. Patrick accounting office.

Where do I turn in Permission Slips and Fees for Youth Ministry events?
You may turn them into the Parish Office, St. Patrick School office or the youth ministry office located in the Commons Area of the School. You can also mail them to St. Patrick at 1000 N. Beckley Station Road, Louisville, KY 40245. 

Who Drives youth to Youth Ministry Events held off the Church Property?
Buses will be the mode of transportation whenever possible. If cars are the mode of transportation, when we leave church property, youth are divided into cars that are driven by adults. Anyone under the age of 21 is prohibited from driving youth in their cars.

​Can my High School youth drive others youth during Youth Ministry Events.

No, St. Patrick does not permit high school youth to drive during our youth ministry events. They will be provided 
transportation by adults 21 and over.
